embrace the selvedge

I know I've mentioned somewhere - perhaps in my shop bio or in comments on other blogs - that I love fabric selvedge. Wondering how common this is? Is it only me, or do most textile fanatics share in this sentiment?

Most recently I've been using it for these little rosettes. I always love a simple rosette brooch.

    Hi Da. I share the counter space dream but will now try to replace it with an apple cider funnel cake dream! My husband's potato pizza version is based on this one (although sans pancetta):
