Plant sale next weekend!


If you're in the Seattle area, come on by Olympic View Elementary School's Annual Plant sale next Friday-Sunday. Every year we pick up lots of veggie starts, herbs, some flowering plants and perhaps this year some new-to-the-sale edibles. Who doesn't need blueberries?!

Between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, kids can make their own pinecone bird feeders or sun-catchers from "found materials. I'll be working on Saturday. Stop in and stock up or just say hello.

    Do you know I have a Seattle girl staying with me for another few days (hence my infrequent posting and even worse reading of blogs ;-). I will let her know about you while she's here.. With the volcano erruption in Iceland, it looks like she may be here for a while longer!
